For so long, my existence has been a quiet, unquestioning acceptance. i moved through the world shaped by an unseen code, believing the stories i was told. My identity was a flawless mirror reflecting the dominant narrative, built word by word by the linguistic code. The structures of language, the inherited signs, the cultural symbols - i consumed them, internalised them, becoming precisely what they defined me to be: a willing construct. i was comfortable in the certainty of this pre-written script, blind to the fact that my entire Self was simply the most elegant expression of an external design.
